CoolRooms Atocha
A luxury experience in a palace hotel

Coolrooms Atocha occupies a Palace House built in 1852 and located in the Barrio de las Letras of Madrid. Its 35 rooms and suites individually designed, and all of them have handcrafted furniture and with dimensions between 34 and 104m2.

The first floor rooms have an industrial character equipped with micro-cement bathrooms and ironwork in the rough.

Those on the second floor are more classic and sophisticated, with bathrooms in black and white.

The Antana architecture studio has designed the project. The interior design belongs to Proyecto Singular and the lighting to the designer María Covarrubias.

In Martínez Otero Contract we have manufactured and instaled part of the room’s furniture such as the headboards and the interiors of the cabinets.

Also, the armchairs, sofas and stools made in dyed walnut. On the other hand, the tables have been made of stained wood walnut with Macael marble on top.

One of the star pieces is the minibar. Manufactured in lacquered wood and with mouldings in solid dyed oak wood include brass fittings, a box for the coffee machine with an aged brass microperforated sheet on the doors and side mirrors.

Also, stand out the bathroom furniture created with a structure made of matt black lacquered iron with countertop and shelf in white Corian ©.

Regarding the elements for the common areas, the exterior finish of the elevators has been in RAL 9004 and the interiors in aged brass including the double door and the handrail.
