Carbón Negro is a restaurant located in the Salamanca neighbourhood of Madrid in an impressive 1,500 square meters room divided into three floors and with a capacity for 300 people.
Designed by the Proyecto Singular team, stands out the verticality of the building with high walls covered with terrazzo stone, as well as the opening of the interior towards the exterior with the large windows that flood the space with light.
The feeling of being in a country house is accentuated thanks to the trees located next to the windows, the wooden floors and the huge fireplace that leads one of the rooms.
In Martínez Otero Contract we have manufactured and supplied part of the furniture: benches, armchairs, chairs, stools, tables and the Gueridón furniture for show cooking.
The seats are made of beech wood dyed walnut and combine two models: without backrest and with classic grid backrest in natural finish.
The benches are also made of solid beech wood stained in a walnut colour, but with a leather backrest attached to a structure with strips, in leather, and bronze aged buckles. The seats and the backrest are in fabrics.
The Gueridón furniture, with beech wood dyed in walnut colour and with metal details in the copper finish, has a Carrara marble countertop 30 mm thick and with rounded edges. Besides, it includes three drawers with front in a stained walnut grid and metal handles in a copper finish.
