Chef Marcos Granados has been commissioned to create the universe of gastronomic nuances materialised in a Mediterranean-based fabulous kitchen reinvented, with a fresh and current character.
It has opted for an experienced kitchen, focused on the raw material of proximity and seasonal products. A gastronomic universe where traditional cuisine is reinvented again and again taking a step further, turning those nuances into authentic culinary experiences.
Matiz incorporates into its offer a bar and cocktail service, thus becoming a multipurpose space open to the public throughout the day, including different environments and services, in addition to the restaurant.
Those who visit this place will not only find gastronomy with a very personal and unique character. Besides, it offers a different monthly agenda of activities around gastronomy, wines and cocktails.
The decoration, the setting, the design of the letters and their illustrations and of course, the creation of each dish, have been thought and cared for to convey emotions.
Martínez Otero Contract has produced all the furniture and installed all the interior styling.
The place combines a wide variety of finishes and materials: stools with lacquered iron legs, velvet sofas in green with gallons and tinted oak structure, tables with envelopes of ceramics and golden plates, ceramics, wallpaper mural, Asian inspired fabrics, coloured oak wood panels and suspension lamps.
