The Palace Hotel Madrid
A legacy reimagined

Located in the heart of the Spanish capital, The Westin Palace Madrid is a landmark hotel that blends history, elegance, and timeless sophistication.

As part of its ambitious refurbishment, the hotel commissioned renowned design firm Lázaro Rosa-Violán Studio to reinterpret its historic grandeur through a contemporary lens.

The studio approached the project with a deep respect for the building's heritage, aiming to preserve its classic spirit while introducing fresh visual narratives that resonate with modern travellers.

The resulting interior design strikes a delicate balance between the past and the present.

Art Deco-inspired elements coexist with contemporary materials, bold colour palettes, and curated lighting to create a sophisticated, atmospheric setting.

Public areas and guest rooms pay homage to the hotel's legacy, evoking Madrid's artistic and cultural energy in the early 20th century—a period during which legendary figures such as Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí were frequent guests.

We were proud to contribute to this emblematic renovation by delivering bespoke carpentry and furniture solutions for the guest rooms.

Our scope encompassed developing, producing, and installing tailor-made elements—from elegant wood panelling and integrated wardrobes to upholstered headboards, bedside tables, and other finely crafted furnishings.

Every piece was meticulously designed to complement the interior concept, ensuring a seamless integration with the studio's bold and enduring vision.

This project exemplifies our commitment to excellence, precision, and collaboration with some of the world's most prestigious design studios.
